Installation Guide
Step-by-step instructions for installing and using AutoTapper on your Android device.
Download the APK
Download the AutoTapper APK file from the download section above.
Open the APK File
Locate the downloaded file in your Downloads folder and tap to open it.
Allow Installation
When prompted, allow installation from this source. You may need to enable "Install unknown apps" for your browser or file manager.
Complete Installation
Tap "Install" and wait for the installation to complete. Then tap "Open" or find AutoTapper in your app drawer.
Enable Accessibility Service
Open AutoTapper and follow the prompts to enable Accessibility Service. This is required for the app to perform taps.
Grant Notification Permission
If asked (especially on Android 13+), grant notification permission for the foreground service.
Connect to Charger
Plug your phone into a charger for extended automation sessions.
Keep Screen On
Ensure the screen stays awake. Enable "Stay awake while charging" in Developer Options if needed.
Set Target and Start
Open the target app/screen, position the tap point in AutoTapper, then press Start.
Stop Anytime
Press the Stop button in AutoTapper or the notification to stop automation immediately.
Redmi / HyperOS Notes
Settings Names May Vary
On Redmi/HyperOS devices, certain settings may have different names or be located in different menus.
"Install via USB" Setting
If you see "Install via USB" options, these are for ADB installation and not required for manual APK install.
"Install Unknown Apps"
You may need to manually enable "Install unknown apps" permission for your browser or file manager app in Settings.
Accessibility Permission
Accessibility Service permission must be enabled manually. Look for AutoTapper in Settings → Accessibility.
Important Reminders
- Device must remain unlocked during operation
- Screen must stay on and target app must be visible
- You can revoke Accessibility permission anytime from Android Settings
- AutoTapper does not work with screen off or on lock screen
