What AutoTapper Does
AutoTapper can tap a fixed point on the visible screen at a selected interval while the device is unlocked and the screen is on.

Tap a specific, user-selected point on the screen with precision and consistency.
Customizable Intervals
Set your preferred interval between taps to match your specific use case.
Visible Screen Only
Works only when the screen is on, unlocked, and the target app is visible.
Intended Usage
For safe and reliable operation, ensure these conditions are met:
Phone Connected to Charger
Keep your device plugged in during extended automation sessions.
Screen Kept Awake
Screen must remain on and active for the entire duration.
Device Unlocked
Device must stay unlocked with the target screen visible.
Target Screen Visible
The app or screen you want to tap must be in the foreground.
Accessibility Service Enabled
Required permission to perform tap gestures on the screen.
Notification Permission
May be required on Android 13+ for foreground service operation.
User Control: You can stop automation anytime within the app, and revoke permissions from Android Settings at any time.
What It Does Not Do
Important limitations to understand before using AutoTapper:
Not a Lock-Screen Tool
Does not work as a lock-screen automation tool.
No Screen-Off Operation
Does not guarantee or support screen-off operation.
No Root Required
Does not use root access, ADB, or Shizuku.
No Security Bypass
Does not bypass Android security restrictions.
No Hidden Automation
Not for hidden or background automation without user awareness.
No Data Upload
Does not upload screen content or user data anywhere.
Why Permissions Are Required
Understanding what each permission is used for and why it is necessary.
Accessibility Service
Used only to perform the tap gesture requested by the user on the visible screen. This is required for the app to simulate touch events.
Notifications / Foreground Service
Used to keep the running automation visible and controllable while active. You will receive a persistent notification when AutoTapper is running.
Battery / Screen Settings
User may need to keep the screen awake manually for stable long-running use. We recommend enabling "Stay awake while charging" from Developer Options.
Revoking Permissions
You can stop automation anytime within the app. You can also revoke any permission from Android Settings at any time. Accessibility Service can be disabled under Settings → Accessibility → AutoTapper.
